Based in New York City, Dr. Naftali G. Berrill is a forensic psychologist active in his field. Dr. Berrill is a member of several professional and scientific organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Academy of Neuropsychologists, and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. Additionally, Dr. Berrill has published research in a number of peer-reviewed outlets and other periodicals, including the Journal of Women and Aging and Litigating Head Trauma Cases.

Dr. Berrill has been asked to present his work before his peers at professional gatherings including the 2013 Annual Legal Workshop for Mental Health Professionals, where he spoke on bipolar disorder and custody matters. He frequently provides presentations and workshops related to evaluating sex offenders and violent criminals to professional as well as legal organizations on a yearly basis.

At present, Dr. Berrill serves as Executive Director of the New York Center for Neuropsychology & Forensic Behavioral Science (NYForensic) and has taught forensic psychology classes at the graduate level at the City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he received a PhD in clinical psychology and was funded by NIMH fellowships throughout his training.
